Regardless of any controversy surrounding Miley Cyrus and her summer hit, “We Can’t Stop,” it’s hard to deny that the song is incredibly catchy. Well, multiply that catchiness factor by a cajillion, and you get Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox’s 1950’s twerk-free cover, sung by Robyn Adele Anderson and featuring The Tee-Tones. Doo-wop can pretty much make anything sound wholesome, but this rendition goes beyond just a clean-up, and translates “We Can’t Stop” into something classic.
Naturally, there are those who are loyal to the original, but others argue that the amazing vocals and unique arrangement of this cover blow Miley out of the water. Let us know in the comments which version of “We Can’t Stop” you prefer.
