How good is Comedy Central right now? Just think about this: How often do you find yourself trading quotes from Key & Peele with your friends? Or posting a highlight from Inside Amy Schumer on one of your social feeds? Or saying “Remember that one Broad City where…?”

Right now, it’s hard to find a network churning out more quote-worthy, memorable shows on a regular basis.

In case the Emmy nomination crew missed the memo, Comedy Central recently launched an unprecedented social media campaign that tapped into its full network of 140 million fans across all social platforms, including CC.com, the CC App,  Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Vine and Snapchat Discover. At the campaign’s core was this video highlighting the network’s top shows and the talent behind them:

“We are celebrating our talent certainly with Emmy voters, but also with our fans as well,” Walter Levitt, Comedy Central’s Chief Marketing Officer told The Hollywood Reporter. “They are incredible, iconic moments. We screen lots of episodes of our content and try to find the moments that best represent the incredible talent we have at Comedy Central. The team did an amazing job of highlighting all of our franchises in a way that is both fun and celebratory.”

As fun as this video is, it’s unlikely that the Emmys would have overlooked Comedy Central’s shows without it – the network earned 21 nominations last year across a record seven series (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, @midnight, South Park, Futurama, Key & Peele and Inside Amy Schumer). This year’s Emmys will air Sept. 20 on Fox.
